An Old Navy employee, along with seven other women, has been accused of stealing more than $18,000 worth of merchandise between March and June of this year.
The theft was committed by the canceling of transactions. Cassandra Diane Garth, 37, the former Old Navy employee has been ordered to pay $18,317 in restitution to the chain.
Charges will be dismissed against Ms. Garth if she successfully competes a pretrial intervention program. If she fails to do so, she will be sentenced to 36 months in prison, as the prosecutor opposes probation or community corrections.
