Employee From Credit Union Caught Stealing From A Deceased’s Account

An employee who worked at the credit union was arrested for theft for stealing money from different customers, even one that was deceased.


Kesha Kestler who was in charge of dormant accounts, used her knowledge and position to steal almost $50,000. She would issue fraudulent checks to herself and wire the money into different accounts. These thefts were discovered when the heirs to the deceased individual contacted the bank about the account.
