Matthew Burton, 42, of Lima, Ohio has been charged with theft in office and aggravated theft for depriving the school district of property or services which have been valued in excess of $100,00 but less than $500,000.
Mr. Burton was the former head of maintenance for the Elida Local School District. The indictment indicates that these offenses occurred between October 2007 and May 2017. He resigned his position with the school on May 11.
